In Germany, the LVL Medical Group is the market leader in nursing and intensive care at home or in dedicated facilities.
Thanks to its expertise, our sister company Bonitas is a well-regarded brand offering care and supervision. In Germany, two activities very different to those in France are undertaken; one the one hand, intensive care at home, one the other, intensive care at home and in dedicated facilities (intensive care units). The teams involved are essentially composed of auxillary staff.

Treatment at home

Delivery of treatment at home comprises :

• Nursing care
• Setting up and maintaining treatment at home
• Washing/personal care
• Help with eating/feeding
• Co-ordinating local bodies to provide help at home (psychological support, housework, shopping) and delivering meals.

Intensive Care

This is particularly aimed at those patients requiring long-term intensive care. We offer :

• Infusion
• Dialysis
• Parental and enteral feeding
• Cardiac monitoring
• Help with breathing

Intensive care can be provided at home or in dedicated facilities. These facilities welcome patients in an ambience similar to being at home; family members can join or accompany them at any time, and a particular aim is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all those patients involved. Teams are composed of auxillary staff who work in shifts round the clock and liaise closely with the doctors involved. In Germany, every day we look after more than 2,000 patients, of whom 400 are in intensive care. 170 of those are children.
