In 2000 LVL began operations in Germany through the acquisition of BONITAS, an organization specialized in assistance and nursing at home. Because German law permits private organizations to provide home medical treatment, BONITAS had developed significant expertise covering a wide range of disorders. This knowledge, combined with LVL’s own quality of service, has allowed the organisation in Germany to become the market leader in nursing and intensive care at home or in dedicated facilities. Today, BONITAS has 1,800 employees in 49 locations throughout Germany.
